The best AI SDRs, and when you want one at all
Every list of AI SDRs is written by an AI SDR company, and every one of them comes first on its own list. This one is written by a company that makes an AI employee, we are on the list too, and we are not at the top of it. The question worth answering is whether you need a specialist or a hire that holds prospecting among other jobs.
The short answer
If outbound volume is the bottleneck, buy a specialist: they carry the prospect data, the sending infrastructure and the intent signals, and a generalist does not. If the real problem is that nobody is following up at all, and prospecting is one of several jobs going undone, a hire that holds several jobs is the cheaper answer. The worst outcome is buying an outbound stack for a business that has no outbound motion yet.
Where we stand: We make one of the products on this list. Sanaf AI Solutions is ours, it is not first, and for a team whose problem is purely outbound volume we say plainly that a specialist will beat it. Every other entry links to a comparison that includes the cases where that product wins.
How this was put together: This is not a hands-on test. No trials, no reply-rate experiments, no scores. Each entry is drawn from our comparison page for that product, written from the vendor’s own live pages on the date shown against it, with those pages linked from the comparison so you can check them. Where a vendor publishes no pricing, the entry says so rather than repeating a figure from somebody else’s blog.

The list
1. Artisan
Checked 2026-09-19An AI BDR that only prospects, or an employee that holds the job among others.
Choose it if
- Outbound is the problem. You want one product that owns prospecting end to end rather than a generalist that also does it.
- You want the data, enrichment, deliverability and intent signals bought together rather than assembled from your own sources.
- You are running outbound at a volume where a dedicated sending and deliverability stack matters more than breadth.
- You would rather configure a campaign once and let it run than review drafts while it earns trust.
2. AiSDR
Checked 2026-09-19A prospecting specialist with its own signals, or a hire that holds the job.
Choose it if
- You want prospects surfaced by buying signals and timing rather than pulled from a list you already own.
- Your outreach benefits from running across email, LinkedIn and a dialer as one coordinated sequence.
- You want to start without talking to anyone: it is self-serve, and you can skip the demo.
- Outbound is a big enough part of the business to justify a tool that only does outbound.
3. 11x
Checked 2026-09-19Digital workers for the sales floor, or one hire for the whole business.
Choose it if
- Sales pipeline is the problem you are buying for, and you want workers built only for that.
- You want buyers surfaced from a large signal stack rather than worked from lists you already have.
- You want outbound and inbound handled by separate purpose-built workers rather than one generalist.
- A demo-and-quote purchase suits you better than signing up and starting the same afternoon.
4. Sanaf AI Solutions
Checked 2026-09-19An employee that holds prospecting alongside the other jobs, in Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Choose it if
- Prospecting is one of several jobs going undone, and you would rather one hire covered the inbox and the follow-ups too.
- You have no sales team to make faster, so you want the job held rather than a rep assisted.
- You want it to draft before it sends, and to widen what it may do on its own as it earns room.
- You want published pricing you can act on today rather than a quote.
5. Regie.ai
Checked 2026-09-19A prospecting workspace for reps, or an employee that does the job itself.
Choose it if
- You have reps and the goal is to make them more productive rather than to take the seat away.
- You want sourcing, ranking, call prep and follow-ups handled around a person who stays in the conversation.
- Built-in why-now signals such as funding and hiring changes are how you want to decide who to contact.
- You want to try it on a free tier before committing to anything.
If you want the job held rather than a tool bought
Sanaf can take this on as one of the jobs it holds, alongside the rest of the roster.
What that job looks likeQuestions
- Should a company with no sales team buy an AI SDR?
- Usually not first. A specialist outbound stack assumes an outbound motion: a list, an offer that converts and somebody to take the meetings it books. Without those it books meetings nobody works. Fixing follow-up on the leads you already get is normally the cheaper first move.
- Why is the company that makes an AI employee reviewing AI SDRs?
- Because buyers compare the two, and we would rather make that comparison honestly than pretend the categories do not overlap. For outbound at volume the specialists are better and the page says so. For prospecting as one job among several, we think we are.
- Do any of these publish their pricing?
- Some publish a model and some do not publish anything without a demo. We do not repeat competitors’ prices here, because their pricing changes and a stale figure is a false claim. Each comparison describes the model and points you at the vendor for the current number.
- What does an AI SDR not do?
- It does not take the meeting, and it should not negotiate. Every product here hands a genuinely interested reply to a person, and any that did not would be optimising the step where deals are actually won or lost.
