The best AI executive assistants, by what you want to stop doing

Almost everything sold as an AI executive assistant makes one person faster at their own inbox and calendar. A smaller number do the work instead of you. Those are different purchases, and most lists mix them together, which is why people buy the wrong one.

The short answer

Ask what you want to stop doing. If you will keep reading your own mail and want it to take half as long, buy a tool that sharpens the person: Superhuman for the inbox, Reclaim or Motion for the week. If you want the triage, the drafting, the briefings and the follow-ups to happen without you, that is a hire rather than a tool, and it should draft before it sends until you trust it.

Where we stand: We make one of the products on this list. Sanaf AI Solutions is ours and it is not at the top. For an executive who intends to stay across their own mail and simply wants to be quicker at it, we say plainly that the tools above us are the better buy.

How this was put together: This is not a hands-on test. Nothing here was trialled or scored. Each entry comes from our comparison page for that product, written from the vendor’s own live pages on the date shown against it, and every one of those comparisons links the pages it was read from so you can check the claim rather than take our word for it.

    • You have more committed work than time, and the hard part is deciding what happens when.
    • Your projects change often enough that a static plan is out of date within a day.

    • You want scheduling decisions made automatically and reversibly, with a preview before anything moves.

What that job looks like

Questions

Is an AI executive assistant the same as a human one?
No, and the useful difference is judgment about people. Drafting, triage, scheduling and preparation are handled well. Knowing which board member to call first, or that somebody is quietly unhappy, is not something any product on this list does.
Why is a calendar tool on a list of executive assistants?
Because the searches overlap and the listicles include them, so pretending otherwise would be unhelpful. We have marked what each one actually is: a calendar that arranges your week is a real answer to a real problem, just not the same problem as delegation.
What should a busy founder buy first?
Whichever matches the sentence you would use to complain. "My week is chaos" points at the calendar tools. "Email eats my mornings" points at the inbox tools. "Nobody is doing any of this" points at a hire.
