Geoapify, worked by an AI employee

Not another app for your team to learn, and not a set of rules for you to build. You hire an AI employee, you give it access to your Geoapify account, and you ask it for things in Slack or Teams the way you would ask anyone else on the team. There is nothing to map and nothing to maintain.

What Geoapify is

Geoapify offers a suite of APIs for integrating maps, geocoding, routing, and other location-based services into applications.

You paste in a key from your own Geoapify account. It is kept encrypted, and you can withdraw it from inside Geoapify whenever you like.

How a run works

One message in, the work done in Geoapify.

  1. 01

    You ask

You message your AI employee in the chat your team already has open, in one sentence, in your own words.

  2. 02

    It works out the step

It decides what the job needs in Geoapify. You do not pick anything from a menu or wire anything together.

  3. 03

    It does the work

Signed in to your own Geoapify account, inside the access you granted it, doing the thing you asked for.

  4. 04

    It reports back

It tells you what it did, in the same thread. If it could not do something, it says so rather than guessing.

17 tools it already has

What it can do in Geoapify

These are the ready-made tools your AI employee already has in Geoapify. It is not limited to them, but it never has to be taught these.

  • Address AutocompleteTool to fetch address suggestions based on partial input. Use when you need to get predictive suggestions from incomplete address text.
  • Batch RequestsTool to create or retrieve batch jobs. Use when processing multiple API calls asynchronously in one operation.
  • Create Marker IconTool to create custom map marker icons. Use when you need a tailored marker after defining map annotations.
  • Fetch Geoapify Map TilesTool to fetch raster map tiles or style JSON from Geoapify. Use when rendering custom maps with specific styles.
  • Forward GeocodingTool to convert an address into geographic coordinates. Use when you need latitude and longitude from an address.
  • Generate isoline (isochrone/isodistance)Tool to generate isochrone or isodistance isolines. Use when visualizing reachable areas from a point; use id to poll ongoing calculations.
  • Geometry OperationTool to perform geometric operations on stored polygon geometries. Use when combining or intersecting multiple stored geometries.
  • Get Administrative BoundariesTool to retrieve administrative boundaries a location is part of. Use when you have either a place ID or coordinates and need GeoJSON boundaries. Returns a FeatureCollection.
  • IP GeolocationTool to determine geographic location of an IP address. Use when you need to lookup location information by IP.
  • Map MatchingTool to snap GPS traces to the road network and correct inaccuracies. Use when raw GPS points need alignment to roads.
  • Place DetailsTool to retrieve detailed information about a specific place. Use when you have a place ID or coordinates and need comprehensive metadata.
  • Places SearchTool to search for points of interest within a specified area. Use when you need POIs matching categories after defining spatial filter or bias.
  • Postcode SearchTool to retrieve postcode information for a location. Use when you need to fetch postcode details based on a given postcode or geographic coordinates.
  • Reverse GeocodingTool to reverse geocode coordinates into a structured address. Use when converting lat/lon to human-readable addresses.
  • Route MatrixTool to compute travel time and distance matrices. Use when you need durations and distances between multiple origin and destination pairs.
  • Route PlannerTool to optimize multi-agent routes and schedules. Use after defining agents and jobs/shipments.
  • RoutingTool to calculate routes between multiple waypoints. Use when you need both distance, time, and turn-by-turn directions for two or more coordinates.
Access, and who is in charge of it

You stay the boss of your Geoapify account.

Nothing connects until you approve it. You grant access one app at a time, you can take it back the same way, and everything your AI employee does in there is written down where you can see it.

How we handle your data
  • It signs in to your own Geoapify account. You are not moving anything into ours.
  • You grant access one app at a time, and you can take it back the same way.
  • Everything it does in Geoapify is written down, with what it did and when.
  • Anything you tell it to check with you first, it checks with you first.
Other apps in the same corner of the business

It works in Geoapify and the rest of your software in the same job

A real job rarely stays in one place. Reading a message in one app, checking a record in another and writing the result in a third is one request to your AI employee, not three.

Questions people ask about Geoapify

Can an AI employee really work inside Geoapify?
Yes. It signs in to your own Geoapify account and works in it the way a new hire would, from the chat your team already has open. Nobody installs anything, and nobody learns a new screen.
Do I have to move anything out of Geoapify?
No. Nothing moves and nothing is replaced. Your records stay in Geoapify, your team carries on in the same screens they used yesterday, and your AI employee works alongside them in there.
How does it get into my Geoapify account?
You paste in a key from your own Geoapify account. It is kept encrypted, and you can withdraw it from inside Geoapify whenever you like. You approve it before anything connects, and you can take the access back the same way you gave it.
What can it actually do in Geoapify?
It has 17 ready-made tools in Geoapify today, among them Address Autocomplete, Batch Requests and Create Marker Icon. The full list is on this page. It is not limited to those, but it never has to be taught them.
Can it use Geoapify and the rest of my software in the same job?
Yes, and that is usually the point. Reading a message in one app, checking a record in Geoapify and writing the result somewhere else is one request to your AI employee, not three separate ones you stitch together.
Who decides what it is allowed to do in Geoapify?
You do. You grant access one app at a time and can withdraw it at any time, anything you ask it to check with you first it checks with you first, and everything it does in Geoapify is written down with what it did and when.
