Engage Platform, worked by an AI employee

Not another app for your team to learn, and not a set of rules for you to build. You hire an AI employee, you give it access to your Engage Platform account, and you ask it for things in Slack or Teams the way you would ask anyone else on the team. There is nothing to map and nothing to maintain.

What Engage Platform is

Engage Platform provides customer data, account, list, event, batch, and transactional messaging APIs for customer engagement workflows.

You paste in a key from your own Engage Platform account. It is kept encrypted, and you can withdraw it from inside Engage Platform whenever you like.

How a run works

One message in, the work done in Engage Platform.

  1. 01

    You ask

You message your AI employee in the chat your team already has open, in one sentence, in your own words.

  2. 02

    It works out the step

It decides what the job needs in Engage Platform. You do not pick anything from a menu or wire anything together.

  3. 03

    It does the work

Signed in to your own Engage Platform account, inside the access you granted it, doing the thing you asked for.

  4. 04

    It reports back

It tells you what it did, in the same thread. If it could not do something, it says so rather than guessing.

18 tools it already has

What it can do in Engage Platform

These are the ready-made tools your AI employee already has in Engage Platform. It is not limited to them, but it never has to be taught these.

  • Add User to AccountsAdd a customer to one or more Engage accounts, optionally assigning a role in each account.
  • Add User to ListsAdd and subscribe an existing user to one or more Engage lists. This tool does not remove list memberships or implement bulk removal.
  • Archive ListArchive a list so it disappears from list results and cannot receive new subscribers. This is not permanent deletion; direct retrieval may still return the archived record.
  • Create ListCreate an Engage user list and return its Engage list ID for subscription tools.
  • Create UserCreate an Engage customer or account with a caller-chosen application UID. Use UPSERTUSER when the UID may already exist.
  • Delete User AttributePermanently remove one custom meta attribute from a user. Standard fields such as firstname, lastname, email, and number cannot be removed.
  • Get ListRetrieve an Engage list by its internal list ID. Direct retrieval can return archived lists, so a successful response does not prove the list is active.
  • Get UserRetrieve one Engage customer or account by its caller-supplied application UID, not Engage's internal ID.
  • List Account MembersList customers belonging to one Engage account identified by its application UID.
  • List ListsReturn one cursor-controlled page of active Engage user lists. Archived lists are omitted by the provider.
  • List UsersReturn one cursor-controlled page of Engage customers and accounts, optionally filtered by exact email.
  • Remove List SubscriberCompletely remove one user's membership from one Engage list. This differs from unsubscribe, which retains membership.
  • Remove User From AccountPermanently remove one customer's membership from one Engage account. This does not delete either user record.
  • Set Account Member RoleSet or replace a customer's role in one Engage account membership.
  • Set List SubscriptionSubscribe, resubscribe, or unsubscribe an existing user on one Engage list. Unsubscribing retains the membership record; use REMOVELISTSUBSCRIBER to remove it completely.
  • Track User EventAppend an immutable event to a user's Engage activity history. A successful status confirms ingestion only; this tool cannot remove the event later. If dispatch is ambiguous, do no
  • Update ListUpdate supplied settings on an existing Engage list without changing unspecified fields.
  • Upsert UserUpdate profile or custom attributes for an application UID, creating the user if it does not exist. Only supplied fields are sent.
Access, and who is in charge of it

You stay the boss of your Engage Platform account.

Nothing connects until you approve it. You grant access one app at a time, you can take it back the same way, and everything your AI employee does in there is written down where you can see it.

How we handle your data
  • It signs in to your own Engage Platform account. You are not moving anything into ours.
  • You grant access one app at a time, and you can take it back the same way.
  • Everything it does in Engage Platform is written down, with what it did and when.
  • Anything you tell it to check with you first, it checks with you first.
Other apps in the same corner of the business

It works in Engage Platform and the rest of your software in the same job

A real job rarely stays in one place. Reading a message in one app, checking a record in another and writing the result in a third is one request to your AI employee, not three.

Questions people ask about Engage Platform

Can an AI employee really work inside Engage Platform?
Yes. It signs in to your own Engage Platform account and works in it the way a new hire would, from the chat your team already has open. Nobody installs anything, and nobody learns a new screen.
Do I have to move anything out of Engage Platform?
No. Nothing moves and nothing is replaced. Your records stay in Engage Platform, your team carries on in the same screens they used yesterday, and your AI employee works alongside them in there.
How does it get into my Engage Platform account?
You paste in a key from your own Engage Platform account. It is kept encrypted, and you can withdraw it from inside Engage Platform whenever you like. You approve it before anything connects, and you can take the access back the same way you gave it.
What can it actually do in Engage Platform?
It has 18 ready-made tools in Engage Platform today, among them Add User to Accounts, Add User to Lists and Archive List. The full list is on this page. It is not limited to those, but it never has to be taught them.
Can it use Engage Platform and the rest of my software in the same job?
Yes, and that is usually the point. Reading a message in one app, checking a record in Engage Platform and writing the result somewhere else is one request to your AI employee, not three separate ones you stitch together.
Who decides what it is allowed to do in Engage Platform?
You do. You grant access one app at a time and can withdraw it at any time, anything you ask it to check with you first it checks with you first, and everything it does in Engage Platform is written down with what it did and when.
