The challenge
Permit and zoning rules are scattered across PDFs, municipal sites, and tribal knowledge. For a contractor, a wrong assumption means a rejected application and weeks of delay. The goal: make a specific city's rules instantly answerable, and make the tool discoverable by the people searching for those exact questions.
What we built
A vertical AI assistant grounded in a city's real permit, zoning, and code documents, plus the programmatic SEO surface to get found.
- Grounded, city-specific answers. Retrieval over the actual municipal source documents, so guidance reflects the rules that apply, with citations.
- Practical tools. Permit-type guides, zoning lookups, and neighborhood pages that answer the questions builders actually ask.
- Engineered for discovery. Programmatic local pages, per city, per permit type, with correct schema, so the tool ranks where demand lives.
The result
The assistant launched for Oklahoma City with a growing, SEO-optimized local footprint, and the architecture scales to new cities by adding their data. It is the full Sanaf AI Solutions stack in one project: a grounded AI system, custom software, and growth engineering working together.
