How to Add Envoy to Webflow
Follow these steps to get your AI chatbot live on your Webflow site. The entire process takes under 5 minutes.
Copy your Envoy script tag
In your Envoy dashboard, go to Settings → Embed Code and copy the <script> snippet shown.
Open Webflow Project Settings
In the Webflow Designer, click the Webflow logo in the top left corner, then select Project Settings. Navigate to the Custom Code tab.
Paste the script into Head Code
In the Head Code field under the Custom Code tab, paste your Envoy script tag. This injects the script into the <head> of every page in your Webflow project. Click Save Changes.
Publish and verify
Click Publish in the Webflow Designer and publish to your chosen domain. Open your published site URL in a browser — the Envoy widget will appear on every page. Custom code does not render inside the Webflow Designer canvas, only on published pages.

Common questions about Envoy on Webflow
Can I add Envoy to only specific Webflow pages?
Yes. In addition to the global Project Settings head code, Webflow allows page-level custom code. Select a specific page in the Pages panel, click the gear icon, and scroll to Custom Code. Scripts added here only run on that page. This is useful if you want the chatbot only on your services page or contact page.
Does Envoy work with Webflow CMS and dynamic content?
Yes. Envoy crawls your published Webflow pages including CMS collection pages such as blog posts, case studies, and product listings. The chatbot trains on everything that is publicly accessible on your site.
Will the chatbot still work after I publish Webflow updates?
Yes. Code in Project Settings → Custom Code is stored at the project level and persists through every publish. You do not need to re-add the script tag when you update your Webflow site content or design.
I am on the Webflow free plan. Can I add custom code?
No. Custom code injection requires a Webflow paid site plan (Basic and above). The Custom Code tab in Project Settings is not available on free Webflow accounts. Any paid site plan unlocks this feature.
