Permits in Moore, OK — Contractor Guide to Moore Building Department

Moore is a separate city south of Oklahoma City along the I-35 corridor with its own building department and its own adopted codes. Moore is well known for its experience with tornado-resistant construction — after the 2013 tornado, Moore adopted some of the most stringent residential wind-load requirements in the nation, including mandatory continuous load path and enhanced garage-door bracing.
