Credits, top-ups and billing

Sanaf is paid for in credits: you buy them up front, Sanaf spends them as it works, and nothing renews on its own. How credits work - Every piece of work Sanaf does is metered in credits, from the published price of the AI model it runs on. - Credits cost $2 per 1,000, at every size. There is no volume discount and no monthly plan. - Credits you buy never expire, and neither do your free credits. - Credits belong to a workspace. They do not move between workspaces. Your first workspace starts with 60,000 free credits. A workspace you add later starts at zero. On the free plan, credits are metered at 4x. Once you buy your first pack, every credit is metered at 1x, so the same work goes four times further. Your balance is always at the bottom of the left rail. Select it to open Billing. Check your balance and how long it lasts Open Settings > Billing. The top of the screen shows your Balance and, if Sanaf has spent anything in the last two weeks, about how many days it will last at that rate. Below that, Last 14 days shows a chart of what was spent each day, the average per day and your Metering rate. Who is spending it splits the same two weeks by person, with scheduled work on its own row. Buy credits Only an owner or an admin can buy credits. 1. Open Settings > Billing and find Buy credits. 2. Pick an amount: $20, $50, $100, $200 or $500. Or type any whole-dollar amount from $20 up to $10,000 in Or any amount. 3. Select Continue to payment. 4. Enter your payment details in the form that opens on the page, then select the Pay button, which shows the amount. The credits land in your balance a moment after the payment goes through. A bank payment can take a few days to clear. You can also ask Sanaf to top up, for example "top up $40". It uses the card on file and always asks you to approve first. Card on file The card you paid with last is kept by Stripe for automatic top-up. Under Card on file you can Replace card or Remove card without buying anything. Removing the card also switches automatic top-up off. Automatic top-up Automatic top-up buys more credits when the balance runs low, so the work does not stop. It is off until you turn it on. 1. Under Automatic top-up, tick Top up automatically when the balance runs low. 2. Set When the balance drops below (in credits), Buy this much (in dollars) and Never more than this a month (in dollars). 3. Select Save. It needs a card on file. If the card is ever refused, automatic top-up switches itself off and the screen tells you why. Your settings stay, so you can replace the card and turn it back on. When credits run out When the balance reaches zero, Sanaf stops working. It still answers, but only to say the workspace is out of credits and that someone who manages the account can buy more. Buy credits and it picks straight back up. Owners and admins get an email when about half the credits are gone, again when they are nearly gone, and once more if work stops. Read the Usage screen

The Usage screen shows what your workspace spent in credits and where it went, so you can see what Sanaf's work is costing and what to change. Open it from Settings > Usage. Use Window at the top right to look at the Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. The window applies to every tab. The Billing button beside it takes you to Billing. Overview The Overview tab answers the main questions in order. - Credits left: your balance, and a sentence saying about how many days it lasts at the pace of the last week. A pill shows whether Automatic top-up is on or off, with a button to buy credits or open Billing. - Worth a look: up to three notes, shown only when something deserves attention. For example, that your credits will run out soon, that spending is up on the period before, that one routine uses a large share of your credits, or that one piece of work cost far more than usual. Each note has a button to act on it where one applies. - Credits spent: the total for the window, compared with the same length of time before it. - Conversations and scheduled and background runs: how many of each, about how much each one cost, and their share of the spend. - Credits by day: a chart that splits each day into conversations and scheduled work. - What the credits bought: the spend grouped by the kind of work, such as Thinking and replying, Remembering and recalling, Working in your apps, Work on its own computer, Images, voice and video, and Pages and spaces. - Who asked the most and Scheduled work that cost the most: select a name or a routine to see its runs. All figures are in credits. Usage never shows dollar costs. Team The Team tab lists each member with their role, how many runs they started, the credits used and their share. Credits count against the person who started the conversation. Scheduled work is not here; it is under Tasks. Activity The Activity tab lists every conversation and scheduled run that cost credits, newest first. Filter it by Users, by Tasks, or by the kind of activity (Conversations or Scheduled tasks). Each row shows what the work was, who asked, the credits used and when. A row marked Settling has not been fully counted yet. A conversation from the console chat links straight to it. Slack, Teams and email threads are not linked, because they live in those apps. Tasks The Tasks tab lists routines, one-off tasks and Sanaf's own housekeeping, with how many times each ran, the credits used, A month at this pace and when it last ran. A paused routine is marked Paused. Spend less - If a routine does the same thing every time, ask Sanaf to turn it into a script. The Worth a look note points this out when a routine uses a large share of your credits. - Long documents, images, video and time on Sanaf's own computer are what make work expensive. - A cheaper model uses fewer credits for the same work. Referral rewards

Rewards pays you credits for the workspaces you bring to Sanaf: a share of what they pay, every month, for as long as they keep paying. Open Rewards from the left rail, under Earn credits. How it works The screen puts it in three steps: 1. Share your link. Your referral link is on the Rewards screen. Select Copy referral link and send it to a team you think would hire Sanaf. 2. They become a customer. A workspace counts as referred when it signs up through your link. 3. Credits are paid monthly. Early each month, credits for the month before land in your workspace on their own. There is nothing to claim. The workspace you refer gets 5,000 credits on top of its free credits the moment it signs up through your link. It never costs them anything. What you earn Your rate depends on how much your referred workspaces spend together in a month. Each level is a badge: | Badge | Your rate | Reached when referred spend is | |---|---|---| | Connector | 15% | your first paying team | | Advocate | 20% | $750 a month | | Insider | 25% | $2,500 a month | | Ambassador | 30% | $7,500 a month | | Luminary | 30% | $30,000 a month | | Legend | 30% | $75,000 a month | Luminary adds a direct line to the Sanaf team. Legend adds that and a say in what we build next. A few rules decide the number: - One rate, on all of it. The month's rate applies to everything your referred teams spent, not only the part above a badge. - Only money paid counts. Spend means credits a referred workspace actually bought. Free credits, welcome credits and rewards do not count, so nothing compounds. - Your badge never goes down. You stand at the highest badge you have reached. A quiet month pays at that month's own rate, and the badge stays. - No cap. There is no limit on how many teams you refer or what you earn. A workspace can only be referred once. Rewards land as extra credits, not as a discount. They never expire, and you are never charged for them. Track your rewards The top of the screen shows your badge and three figures: Reward credits earned, referred spend so far this month, and Workspaces referred with how many are paying. Below that are three tabs: - Calculator: move the slider to see what a month of referred spend would pay you. - Referred workspaces: each workspace that used your link, whether it is Paying or Free, when it joined, and what it spent in the last paid month. What each month paid lists every payout with its badge, rate and credits. - FAQ: answers to common questions. Related - Credits, top-ups and billing - Workspaces

Invite your team

The Team screen is where you see everyone in your workspace, invite new people and decide what each person can do. Open it from Settings > Team. Roles Every member has one of three roles: - Owner: can do everything, including making someone else an owner or changing or removing an owner. - Admin: can invite and remove people, buy credits, change settings and approve Sanaf's requests. An admin cannot make someone an owner or change an owner. - Member: can use Sanaf and look around the console, but cannot change settings, buy credits or approve requests. A workspace always keeps at least one owner. Invite someone Only an owner or an admin can invite. 1. On the Team members tab, type the person's email address into the search box. You can also paste a whole list of addresses. 2. When nobody matches, an invite row appears. Choose a role next to as. 3. Select Send invite. They get an email asking them to sign up at Sanaf with that address. Signing up with the same address puts them straight into your workspace instead of opening a workspace of their own. Invites last 14 days. Until it is accepted, the person shows in the list as Invited, with the date it expires. To withdraw one, open its menu and select Cancel invite. To resend an expired invite, invite the same address again. Change a role or remove someone Open the menu on a person's row. Under Role, pick Make owner, Make admin or Make member. To take someone out, select Remove from workspace. You cannot remove yourself. Ask another owner or admin to do it. Link Slack accounts In Slack, only a linked owner or admin can press Approve on Sanaf's cards. If your workspace uses Slack, owners and admins see Check Slack members at the top of the Team screen. It: - links teammates whose Slack email matches their Sanaf email, so they can approve from a Slack card - lists people In Slack, not here yet, each with an Invite button - lists members it could not find in Slack, who may use a different address there People with a linked account show a Slack linked tag. Groups Groups bundle teammates so you can point at a whole team at once, in a task or an approval. On the Groups tab, select New group, give it a name and add people. Each group's menu has Edit members, Rename and Delete group. Related - How approvals work - Workspaces - Manage your account

Workspaces

A workspace is your business's account in Sanaf: one Sanaf, its people, its connected apps, its memory and its credits, all kept together. What belongs to a workspace Each workspace has exactly one Sanaf, and everything around it is separate from your other workspaces: - the people on the Team screen and their roles - connected apps and channels, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams - what Sanaf remembers and what it has learned - credits, the card on file and automatic top-up Nothing carries over between workspaces. Sanaf in one workspace cannot see anything in another. When to open another workspace Open a second workspace when you need a second, separate Sanaf. For example, an agency running Sanaf for several clients, or a business with two separate Slack workspaces. If you only want Sanaf to do more work, you do not need another workspace. One Sanaf takes as many jobs as you give it. Open a new workspace 1. At the top of the left rail, select Switch workspace (the up and down arrows next to your workspace name). 2. Select New workspace. 3. Under Workspace name, name it after the team or client it works for. 4. Under Where does this team work?, choose where the team talks: We work in Slack, We work in Microsoft Teams or We work in Discord. 5. Select Create workspace. You become the owner of the new workspace, and the console takes you straight to hiring its Sanaf. Credits in a new workspace Credits are per workspace. The free credits came with your first workspace, so a new one starts at zero. Buy a credit pack for it in Settings > Billing when you are ready to put its Sanaf to work. Switch between workspaces Select Switch workspace next to the workspace name at the top of the left rail. The menu lists every workspace you belong to, with a tick beside the one that is open. Select another to switch to it. Workspaces you were invited to appear in the same list. Related - Invite your team - Credits, top-ups and billing - Create your workspace and hire Sanaf

Manage your account

My account holds the settings that belong to you as a person, not to the workspace: your name, the address you sign in with, your password and your sessions. Open it from Settings > My account. Your name Under Your name, type what your team should see you as in What your team sees, then select Save name. Sign-in email The card shows the address you sign in with and the ways you sign in, such as Google, Slack, Microsoft or Email. To change it: 1. Type the new address in New email. 2. Select Change email. 3. Open the confirmation email we send and follow the link. The new address only takes over once it is confirmed. Password To change your password: 1. Type your Current password. 2. Type the New password (at least 8 characters) and type it again in New password again. 3. Select Change password. If you signed up with Google, Slack or a code and never set a password, or you forgot it, select Email me a link. We send you a link to choose one. Sign out everywhere Sign out everywhere ends every session you have, on every device, including this one. Use it if you lost a laptop or signed in on a computer that is not yours. Your workspaces and Sanaf keep working. Delete your account Delete my account removes your sign-in for good. It cannot be undone. Before you delete, the card tells you what happens to each workspace you belong to: - A workspace where you are the only person closes with your account. Sanaf stops working there, and credits left in it are not refunded. - A workspace with other people keeps running for them. You leave it. If you are the only owner of a workspace that other people still use, you cannot delete your account yet. Make one of them an owner first on the Team screen, so the team keeps Sanaf. The card links you there with Open Team. To delete, type your email address in the confirmation box and select Delete my account. Related - Invite your team - Workspaces

Choose Sanaf's AI model

The Model screen decides which AI model Sanaf thinks with, and how hard it thinks before it answers. Open it from Settings > Model. The model you pick is used for conversations and as the default for scheduled tasks. Only an owner or an admin can change it. Presets Most businesses only need a preset. Each one picks a model and a thinking level for you: - Ultra (Recommended): the best available. Worth it when a client will read the work closely, or the job has a lot of steps. - Smart: excellent judgment and strong tool use. The right default for everyday work. - Quick: fast and a lot cheaper. Right when Sanaf is doing high-volume, lower-stakes work. Pick a specific model Under Or pick a model, you can choose a named model instead of a preset. The list updates itself: a new model shows up within a day of becoming available, marked New. A model marked no tools cannot use your connected apps. Next to each model, Reasoning sets how hard it thinks before it answers: Minimal, Low, Medium or High. Default leaves that to the model. Change the model 1. Open Settings > Model. 2. Select a preset, or a model under Or pick a model. 3. Select Save. You can also just ask Sanaf to switch, for example "switch to Quick". It asks you to approve the change first. What it costs The $ to $$$$ next to each option shows how it compares with Smart ($$) for the same work. It is a comparison, not a price. You are billed in credits, on what Sanaf actually does. A more capable model uses more credits for the same work, and a cheaper one uses fewer. Every model is available on every plan, including the free credits. To see what your work is costing, open Settings > Usage. Related - Read the Usage screen - Credits, top-ups and billing
