Sanaf is paid for in credits: you buy them up front, Sanaf spends them as it works, and nothing renews on its own.
How credits work
- Every piece of work Sanaf does is metered in credits, from the published price of the AI model it runs on.
- Credits cost $2 per 1,000, at every size. There is no volume discount and no monthly plan.
- Credits you buy never expire, and neither do your free credits.
- Credits belong to a workspace. They do not move between workspaces.
Your first workspace starts with 60,000 free credits. A workspace you add later starts at zero. On the free plan, credits are metered at 4x. Once you buy your first pack, every credit is metered at 1x, so the same work goes four times further.
Your balance is always at the bottom of the left rail. Select it to open Billing.
Check your balance and how long it lasts
Open Settings > Billing. The top of the screen shows your Balance and, if Sanaf has spent anything in the last two weeks, about how many days it will last at that rate.
Below that, Last 14 days shows a chart of what was spent each day, the average per day and your Metering rate. Who is spending it splits the same two weeks by person, with scheduled work on its own row.
Buy credits
Only an owner or an admin can buy credits.
- Open Settings > Billing and find Buy credits.
- Pick an amount: $20, $50, $100, $200 or $500. Or type any whole-dollar amount from $20 up to $10,000 in Or any amount.
- Select Continue to payment.
- Enter your payment details in the form that opens on the page, then select the Pay button, which shows the amount.
The credits land in your balance a moment after the payment goes through. A bank payment can take a few days to clear.
You can also ask Sanaf to top up, for example "top up $40". It uses the card on file and always asks you to approve first.
Card on file
The card you paid with last is kept by Stripe for automatic top-up. Under Card on file you can Replace card or Remove card without buying anything. Removing the card also switches automatic top-up off.
Automatic top-up
Automatic top-up buys more credits when the balance runs low, so the work does not stop. It is off until you turn it on.
- Under Automatic top-up, tick Top up automatically when the balance runs low.
- Set When the balance drops below (in credits), Buy this much (in dollars) and Never more than this a month (in dollars).
- Select Save.
It needs a card on file. If the card is ever refused, automatic top-up switches itself off and the screen tells you why. Your settings stay, so you can replace the card and turn it back on.
When credits run out
When the balance reaches zero, Sanaf stops working. It still answers, but only to say the workspace is out of credits and that someone who manages the account can buy more. Buy credits and it picks straight back up.
Owners and admins get an email when about half the credits are gone, again when they are nearly gone, and once more if work stops.
