Use this page when you message Sanaf and nothing comes back. Most causes show up somewhere in the console.
It was not mentioned in a channel
In a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, Sanaf only answers when you mention it (for example @sanaf), or when you reply in a thread it is already part of. In a direct message, it answers everything.
Fix: mention Sanaf at the start of your message, or message it directly. In Slack, it also has to be added to the channel first.
It is not installed where you are writing
Open Sanaf's overview (select its name at the top of the left rail). The line under its name says where it works, for example @sanaf in Slack ยท installed. If it says Not in a workspace yet, or the Slack card offers Add Sanaf to Slack, it is not in your Slack yet.
You can also check Integrations > Channels. Each channel shows Live, Waiting to be installed or Not set up.
Fix: use the button on that card to add Sanaf, or select Reinstall if it was installed before. In Teams, if your Microsoft account is not connected yet, Sanaf answers a direct message with a card asking you to connect it.
The workspace is out of credits
When the balance reaches zero, Sanaf answers only to say the workspace is out of credits. You can see the balance at the bottom of the left rail, and Settings > Usage says Your credits have run out.
Fix: an owner or admin buys credits in Settings > Billing. Sanaf picks straight back up. To stop this happening again, turn on Automatic top-up on the same screen.
It is waiting for an approval
Before it sends, books, buys or deletes anything, Sanaf stops and asks. While a request is waiting, the work in that conversation pauses, and new messages in the same thread wait their turn behind it. Sanaf's overview shows a card saying Sanaf is waiting on you.
Fix: answer the card, in the thread or on the overview with Approve or Not this time. In Slack, only a linked owner or admin can decide. See Invite your team to link Slack accounts.
It asked you a question
On a bigger job, Sanaf sometimes needs something only a person knows, such as a figure or a file. It asks once and waits. The job shows as Waiting on you until you reply in that same conversation.
Fix: answer in the thread where it asked.
It is still working
Long jobs take time. On the overview, Working now and Working on it now show what it is doing and how far it has got.
Fix: wait for it, or, if it is going the wrong way, select Stop. Stop puts the job down at the end of the step it is on.
It replied with a problem
If a reply starts Something went wrong on my side, ask again. It lists what it finished and picks up from there. If it says the AI service is handling too many requests, wait a few minutes before asking again. If it says the model is not one the plan will serve, an owner or admin should pick another model in Settings > Model, or add credits.
In the console chat, a message that did not send shows its reason with Try again.
