Sanaf is not replying

Use this page when you message Sanaf and nothing comes back. Most causes show up somewhere in the console. It was not mentioned in a channel In a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, Sanaf only answers when you mention it (for example @sanaf), or when you reply in a thread it is already part of. In a direct message, it answers everything. Fix: mention Sanaf at the start of your message, or message it directly. In Slack, it also has to be added to the channel first. It is not installed where you are writing Open Sanaf's overview (select its name at the top of the left rail). The line under its name says where it works, for example @sanaf in Slack · installed. If it says Not in a workspace yet, or the Slack card offers Add Sanaf to Slack, it is not in your Slack yet. You can also check Integrations > Channels. Each channel shows Live, Waiting to be installed or Not set up. Fix: use the button on that card to add Sanaf, or select Reinstall if it was installed before. In Teams, if your Microsoft account is not connected yet, Sanaf answers a direct message with a card asking you to connect it. The workspace is out of credits When the balance reaches zero, Sanaf answers only to say the workspace is out of credits. You can see the balance at the bottom of the left rail, and Settings > Usage says Your credits have run out. Fix: an owner or admin buys credits in Settings > Billing. Sanaf picks straight back up. To stop this happening again, turn on Automatic top-up on the same screen. It is waiting for an approval Before it sends, books, buys or deletes anything, Sanaf stops and asks. While a request is waiting, the work in that conversation pauses, and new messages in the same thread wait their turn behind it. Sanaf's overview shows a card saying Sanaf is waiting on you. Fix: answer the card, in the thread or on the overview with Approve or Not this time. In Slack, only a linked owner or admin can decide. See Invite your team to link Slack accounts. It asked you a question On a bigger job, Sanaf sometimes needs something only a person knows, such as a figure or a file. It asks once and waits. The job shows as Waiting on you until you reply in that same conversation. Fix: answer in the thread where it asked. It is still working Long jobs take time. On the overview, Working now and Working on it now show what it is doing and how far it has got. Fix: wait for it, or, if it is going the wrong way, select Stop. Stop puts the job down at the end of the step it is on. It replied with a problem If a reply starts Something went wrong on my side, ask again. It lists what it finished and picks up from there. If it says the AI service is handling too many requests, wait a few minutes before asking again. If it says the model is not one the plan will serve, an owner or admin should pick another model in Settings > Model, or add credits. In the console chat, a message that did not send shows its reason with Try again. Related - How approvals work - Connect Sanaf to Slack - Credits, top-ups and billing

An app will not connect or stopped working

Use this page when an app will not connect, or Sanaf says it cannot reach an app that used to work. Connecting and changing apps needs an owner or an admin. Most of this happens on the Integrations screen, which you open from the left rail. Check the app's status Sanaf's overview (select its name at the top of the left rail) has a What it can use card. Each app shows one of three words: - Ready: connected and working. - Not finished: someone started connecting it and did not finish signing in. - Needs reconnecting: the connection broke or access to the app was withdrawn. On the Apps tab of Integrations, a connected app with a red dot is broken, and its card shows the problem in place of the account count. Reconnect an app For Not finished or Needs reconnecting: 1. Open Integrations and stay on the Apps tab. 2. Find the app in the list and select Connect. 3. Sign in to the app and allow access. When it works, you land back on Integrations with a message that the app is connected. If it still fails, see the next section. "Did not connect" If signing in fails, Integrations shows a card saying the app did not connect, with the reason the app gave. Read the reason first: a cancelled sign-in or the wrong account is fixed by trying again. Some apps, often ones that sign in with Google or Microsoft, cannot be connected until extra setup is done on our side. If the reason points that way, contact us. Connected, but Sanaf does not use it The app can be connected and still out of Sanaf's reach. Check these: - Already connected for your business: an account connected for the business is not automatically Sanaf's. Select Let Sanaf use this. - Turned off: open the app, then the account, then the Settings tab. If Enable integration says Off, select it to turn it On. A connection that is off shows a turned off tag. - A tool set to Never allow: on the account's Tools tab, each tool can be set to Always allow, Ask for confirmation or Never allow. Sanaf cannot use a tool set to Never allow. - Locked: a locked connection can only be changed by an owner. Start fresh If an app keeps misbehaving, disconnect it and connect it again. Open the app, then the account, then Settings, and use Disconnect integration. Sanaf loses access at once. This does not withdraw access inside the app itself; do that from your account there if you want to. Your own systems For an MCP server or API you added yourself, open the Your systems tab and select Check connection on that system. It runs the same check Sanaf does and shows the result: which tools Sanaf gets, or the reason it failed, such as a wrong key or an address that cannot be reached. Sanaf has the wrong idea about an app When you connect an app, Sanaf studies it and writes itself a note. If its note is out of date, open the app and select Learn it again.
