The Model screen decides which AI model Sanaf thinks with, and how hard it thinks before it answers.
Open it from Settings > Model. The model you pick is used for conversations and as the default for scheduled tasks. Only an owner or an admin can change it.
Presets
Most businesses only need a preset. Each one picks a model and a thinking level for you:
- Ultra (Recommended): the best available. Worth it when a client will read the work closely, or the job has a lot of steps.
- Smart: excellent judgment and strong tool use. The right default for everyday work.
- Quick: fast and a lot cheaper. Right when Sanaf is doing high-volume, lower-stakes work.
Pick a specific model
Under Or pick a model, you can choose a named model instead of a preset. The list updates itself: a new model shows up within a day of becoming available, marked New. A model marked no tools cannot use your connected apps.
Next to each model, Reasoning sets how hard it thinks before it answers: Minimal, Low, Medium or High. Default leaves that to the model.
Change the model
- Open Settings > Model.
- Select a preset, or a model under Or pick a model.
- Select Save.
You can also just ask Sanaf to switch, for example "switch to Quick". It asks you to approve the change first.
What it costs
The $ to $$$$ next to each option shows how it compares with Smart ($$) for the same work. It is a comparison, not a price.
You are billed in credits, on what Sanaf actually does. A more capable model uses more credits for the same work, and a cheaper one uses fewer. Every model is available on every plan, including the free credits. To see what your work is costing, open Settings > Usage.
